Well, im one happy camper, today i bought one of the Ltd. Edition Smith and Wesson Heritage series revolvers, Model 1008 .38 Spl., the ones with the AMAZING case hardening colors.
If you like custom knives, damascus steel, and appreciate nice, very colorful case hardening, you should check one of these out at a store, they are BEAUTIFUL!
I have seen pics on the net, the colors are much more vivid in person. I think there are pics on Lew Horton's website. If you have ever wanted a beautiful, classic style revolver with unbelievable case hardening, you should get one of these. Im not easily impressed, and i LOVE this thing. In my mind, it is in the same class, and evokes the same feeling as my expensive custom knives, but for much less money, paid $500, worth EVERY penny. Did i mention i LOVE this thing!
