I've been away for a little while . Spent a week in the hospital, I dumped a bucket of liquid fertilizer on myself and it almost took out my pancreas. The day after I got out of the hospital I jumped on a plane and flew to Solvang for the show . Just got home last night. The show was great and the pancreas is getting better every day.

Dang! That fertilizer is evil stuff. I've heard of people getting sick just by walking a newly-fertilized golf course.

Glad to hear you're doing better!

Whoa...careful there, big fella! ;)

Seriously though, it's scary to hear about your misfortune, but great news that you're on the road to recovery and feeling better every day! Let's try to hang on to that pancreas...it's kind of irreplaceable you know, as are you...to your family, friends, and also to those of us in the knife world who currently only know you through our involvement there!

Glad you're back, Ken!

Ray :)

Yeah, be careful with chemicals! ;) Fertilizer, too! Glad you're recovering and had a good trip!

Soooooo, how are we coming on the Kershaw Taboo? :D

Holy cow, be careful dude. They buried one of my favorite artists (Kurt Vonnegut) last year, I'd hate to see one go this year. I look forward to seeing you knocking around the forum until duty calls again.

Holy Schnikies!!

I thought fertilizer was supposed to make you grow, not kill you!! Sorry to hear that, but glad you're ok.

Hope it doesn't affect your knife designing skills. Hhhmmmm What's he going to come up w/ now? :D:D:D

Glad you're alright! Can't wait to see the new designs SPROUTING UP!:foot:

Wow! Ken, do yourself a favor and do what I did.................buy a horse. Get all the "fertilizer" you need! Just watch where you step. :)

Glad to hear you're OK. Anything to do with the Pancreas is scary stuff. I'm Diabetic, so anytime I hear anything about the Pancreas, I take notice.

You mentioned Solvang. Were you still there yesterday? I'm only a half hour away, and couldn't make it to the show on Saturday, or yesterday. I was basically going to the show to see your work, and meet you. Maybe next year...

Take it easy.

Don't scare us like that again Ken! The knife world would be dooooomed.
On a serious note, glad to hear that you're better. Get some rest, and dream about the new tactiboo that you will make :D

Yikes Ken, tough month for knifemakers in Hawaii. First Mayo falls off his bike and then you have a run in with some fertilizer. Glad you're feeling better. Take care.

Glad to hear you're doing better Ken. Wish I could've been in Solvang. Not for the knives, mind you. The funnel cake is simply incredible!!!:D

Cheers, an here's to more recovery:thumbup:
