I'm new to Strider - Danger VERY LARGE GB PIC

Well,

I don't post much but lurk a whole lot. I wanted a TANK of a folder and everyone kept talking about AR and GB's so I got one. It is off right now to G2 to get a leather sheath fitted and then I plan to beat the crap out of it One question on the lock. Please see the picture and tell me if the discoloration is something I should worry about or not. Thanks.

The discoloration on the liner is normal. The contact area of the liner has been heat treated so that the denser blade material doesn't wear it away. The titanium looks scorched after it is heat treated.

Thanks. That is exactly the way it looks. As it is Ti I was not worried about rust but was not sure if the "scorched" look was normal or not.

Yes, that is from heat treat.
G2 does great work. He made me a pouch for my AR & Sebenza.
