Imperial E-Z open Jack Knife

Does anyone here have any info to share on the Easy Open Jack Knife which Imperial made for the military. I've found a few pictures of the WW2 model, all of which are bone handled. I purchased an Imperial Easy Open today and all matches up except mine has synthetic handles.( could be a later made one). My knife measures 3 3/8 in. closed, nickel silver bolsters, the lanyard, and is much more sturdily built than other Imperials I've handeled. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Dale H. Forgot to mention, the main blade tang is stamped Imperial over Prov. R.I.. The secondary blade is stamped U.S.A. on the tang. Dale
