I had a hard time finding this vid, has anyone here seen it yet? I dig my Vantage.

I've really gotta break down and buy one of these. For some reason I always end up talking myself into another knife of some kind. Thanks for the vid. Next time I wont be passing it over.

wow.. I'm even impressed. Language is Middle eastern of some sort (would be my guess)

Try Russian. The рез картона: at the top gives it away and I could tell by listening to it that it is. Plus if you go to the actual YouTube page, Google asks if you want to translate from Russian to English. :)

Obviously I missed something here but I can't find the video in question, anyone care to link for me?

Note to self... missing video is only missing when viewing the forums on cellphone.

The Vantage blade is hollow-ground. And yep, the video is Russian.

Looks like he put his own edge on the blade, the bevel is pretty wide and it's quite a bit more polished than the factory edges on any of my Vantages. I've been having fun reprofiling the edge on my Vantage to a shallow-ish convex edge. I'm stropping-challenged with v-edges, but I can strop my Vantage's convex edge quite easily. Boy is the Vantage an even better looker with a mirror-polished edge ;)

I really have to break down and buy Roseta Stone and figure out what he really said.

I always make up an alternate dialog when a vid is in a foriegn language. For this one I imagined that it was a cooking show. Cardboard Salad anyone?

I think the Vantage line is impressive. No matter what model you choose it seems to be a great value. Still, I need to add a 110 to my stable before I seriously consider a Vantage. I'm shure that most of you understand.
