Happy Halloween! Haven't done a pumpkin since I was a kid but the wife wanted to get one.

After the cheesy little carving tool that came with the pumpkin got bent to hell within the first minute or so of use, I pulled the Victorinox Spirit out my pocket and used the blade. The serrations worked very well as expected. Too bad I can't say the same for my artistic ability. :D

Awesome! Can't wait to get my Swisstool and show some pumpkins who the boss is....

I was considering using my swisstool to carve our pumpkins this year but figured it would be a pain to clean so i just used my fillet knife. Worked well too.

I got a tip last year that the Vic fish-scaler tool works wonders on pumpkins. I admit I was sceptical at first but gave it a go and it truly works wonders, far better than a sharp blade for some reason.

BTW that still looks like a pretty good pumpkin to me Jonny.

Happy Halloween! Nice job on the pumpkin! Looks like the Spirit can stand its own - even though it doesn't use batteries. ;)

I have one of those cheap pumpkin carving kits. This is from two years ago. My 12 year old son. Looks a little like John Lennon.

I just used my Mora Clipper to carve two jack o' lanterns.

I hate getting all those pumpkin innards all over a multitool or folding knife.
