Headed down south with Iz for an overnight trip to Indian Trails conservation area. Its a gorgeous area with hills and lots of pines. It was an awesome trip. We covered alot of ground exploring around, harvested fatwood to play with, and just hung out. I pitched my 10x10, the ticks were BRUTAL, Ate salami and cheese for lunch, and grilled some Spam on the folding grill with instant taters for dinner. All in all it was a great time, and I look forward to returning.

Heres the pics, and video...

Used the Halftrack with Multipouch. I love this pack.

used the 1917 of course.... That moss was very cool. It took a spark from the metal match to flame. Neat tinder.

heres a better shot of that bad boy. On Turley Knives website Iz goes into the making and thoughts behind the design.

I made a nice haft protector to aid in choking up on it for shavings, and a mask for it. Gonna do up a baldric type sheath for it, and a belt loop carry system as well.

Great pics J  I wish I would have gotten on the Turley knife list before that thing exploded! He makes some super nice blades

Great pics of the woods there in the US. Must have been a great time :)

Yeah, I only have those two, and love them. Great tools for sure. His wait list speaks of the quality. He is a nice guy, and a skilled woodsman too. Ive learned alot from him. I say get on the list. Gives ya plenty of time to decide what ya want..
