hi guys this question was probally ask alot but im new here i was thinking of getting a ATC HAYES FIGHTING HATCHETT for self defense to keep in my car and home can anybody please give meinfo on this product please thanks alot

Are you sure that you want to go the hatchet route? In PA, you can get a Concealed Weapons Permit (I am unsure of the exact nomenclature for PA) for a handgun. An assortment of tools including a hammer, would be much more explainable to authorities than a ATC HAYES FIGHTING HATCHETT. A hammer's a good bludgeon.

Hi Ed!
I have only one thing to say: BUY A VIETNAM TACTICAL!!!
buy it from ATC, they're the original producers of the Vietnam Hawk.
Hayes just copy them...

oliver,

there is a difference between the HAYES hawk, and the company HAYS (Notice the spelling) which produces ATC copies. The American Tomahawk Company HAyes HAwk is a collaboration with a Canadian Maker, Hayes, who is actually the president of the Canadian Knfiemaker's Guild, and a fantastic maker. The ATC Hayes hawk is a bearded design with a "Japanese handle wrap" style grip moulded into the handle.

Check it out!

hi Karl!

SOOOOOOOOOORRY!!!!! my fault! you're right! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah this hawk is so nice! a kind of "next generation" with japan style handle...
