Info on CO2 plain

I just got a mariner with the plain blade style,really nice looking piece.Can't wait for the plain rescue.Did spyderco only make these for a limited time or where they regular production?And how long ago were they discontinued?Thanks

Hi Whosyour. they were regular production for a while but were discontinued to due to poor sales. I don't remember exactly when we discontinued them, early 80's some time.
