As for being the best in the world. While he makes an exceptional knife, he is probably not the best in the world. Of course that title is always subjective.

I think that you made a good choice in knives. The Harris autos that I have had were very nice. Very clean fit and finish. Excellent mechanical action. I believe that he also does his own engraving.
At the Blade Show he was sporting an impressive out the front "fork" auto. It is the fastest and most expensive fork I have yet to find.
Lucky, I would love to see a picture when it arrives.

Dewey is a gentleman and a fine maker. He makes the only real quality da otf available currently, although I understand a couple of other folks are working on one. He makes two sizes, which are you getting? He does do all of his own engraving, and is very articulate. He also makes some other exciting pieces. You've made an excellant choice. His price for a fully engraved piece
should be in the 2000.00-2200.00 range
