Info on this 105?

Can anyone give me info on this 105? No date stamp so I assume it could be a 70's vintage (if it's dating is similar to 110's)? My brother was the bidder and I believe it's his first Buck!

I took a look and the knife appears to be from Group 2, 1973-1980. Group 1 would be the same except with an upside down stamp and Group 3 would be the same except only one piece of micarta trim in the guard.
