Info on Wayne Watanabe

Hey anyone seen or used a neck knife by Wayne? I picked up a very nice D2 model by Wayne this weekend. Very nice guy and makes a great looking knife. Wayne had knives of D2 A2 and ATS34.

I have several Watanabe's. They are an outstanding knife. I have one neck knife that I have used quite a bit. Your observation about Wayne is right on. He is probably the most humble and underrated maker out there....A few makers could really take a lesson in humility from Wayne. Congats. on your find.

I've never understood why Wayne hasn't attained more notoriety. He advertises, attends shows, seems like a very nice person, and perhaps most importantly, makes a really great knife with a beautiful finish.
