Infrared Photon Microlight

I've seen the infrared Photon Microlight advertised on various web sites, but don't know anyone who's actually bought or used one.

Since I'm always curious about gadgets that I don't own (but might like to), I need to know: do any of you gearheads have the infrared model, and, if so, what do you use it for?

I don't have one, but as far as I know the IR lights are only useful if you sport night vision.

I use it for work (am active duty military). As you said, night vision equipment is required. Works well with it though. I carry it on a chain with a blue Photon II. They compliment each other well. It is easier to use than the larger IR devices and about as effective.
