Here is an integral hunter that I have roughed out and close to being ready to heat treat. I wanted to ask what type of handle material you think would look best. I am kind of leaning toward some stag. There is a lot of work in this sucker and I don't want to screw it up by putting the wrong handle material on it. It's got a four inch blade of D2 steel. Opinions requested.

I don't see how some nice stag could be the wrong choice for that knife. I look forward to seeing it complete.

I agree with Roger,either Stag or some outer Bark,Brown Mammoth Ivory with Gold pins,stunning!

To me, there are very few knives where stag would be a bad choice. I think it would be an excellent choice for this one. Maybe amber stag?

Some nice amber stag would complete the package very nicely.

I don't think you can go wrong with some nice stag. That'll be a real looker and with the D2 a real cutter too.
