Man, I can't believe I endured that entire review. That guy is a semi-literate tool.
He didn't do his homework at all unsurprisingly, or he'd have known what the handle liners and the pointed pommel glass breaker were all about.
His criticism of velcro in the snow on triple secured sheath system was somewhat comical. About the last place one is in a hurry is in snowy environments. The fuzz side gets snow rubbed out of it in seconds and the grip side gets snow easily flicked out of it by striking the backside forcefully with even a gloved fingertip. Even then, to get the velcro "snow packed" somehow takes some diligent negligence. If it is closed around the handle, it doesn't take snow. If the knife is out, take one second if time permits, and close the velcro on itself.
If it wears out, I thought RAT had a warranty.

If it doesn't cover wear on the sheath, the MOLLE backer is not essential to the continued enjoyment of the knife and its sheath and easily replaced.
I don't like snaps on the handle retention part of the sheath. If they break you are reduced to punching out the snap parts and employing some paracord or using the lanyard. Snaps clog with snow. Snaps can freeze tight just like velcro can. Snaps require accuracy in refastening and some accuracy in grabbing a little tab to open.
I'm not saying the RC-3 is perfect. I have never, and likely will never own the small RAT due to personal distaste for small fixed blades, but the critic in that video wouldn't have been at all pressed for time if he were coherent.
An S30V RAT? I thought we wanted tough field knives around here, not something made from steel for folding knives.
