Barely a week old and she already has three of her own slipjoints, in addition to the ones she'll eventually get from me. She has excellent tastes, her favorite was not one of her knives but rather daddy's KHnutbuster.

Funny you should ask. Just this morning I was thinking that it was time to get her a gun. Something in .22lr. Then when the time comes she'll decide between 9mm or .45. I hope that her impeccable tastes extends to firearms also and that she favors the same gun as Dad, Old Slabsides.

As a dad of three little ones, here's my advice: Whenever you get exhausted and find yourself saying things like "I can't wait 'til she's old enough to ..." stop yourself right there. That time will come; the best thing is to live in the present, and savor every single day (even when you're bone tired from no sleep).
