Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but seeing as how my Iphone is part of my EDC and I'm asking about a way to carry it, I thought this might be a good place to get some opinions.
Really, I'm wanting to know if any of you use or have used the Otterbox Defender case for your Iphone or any other devices. I would never clip my iphone to my belt and go mountainbiking, but walking my dogs, small hikes, running errands around town on my bike or on foot or just outside doing stuff I'd like to keep my iphone as secure as possible. I've read all kinds of reviews but thought I'd ask you all what you thought about it. I would appreciate any feedback positive or negative about this. Thanks in advance.
You all are really great.

This works well for me..

Speck Candy Shell, it's a great snug thin case. Smooth hard outside makes it easy to get in and out of your pocket. Also has great fall protection... still would not want to test it though.

Speck Pixel Skin, it's a thicker rubber. Very grippy in the hand, so it's harder to go in and out of the pocket... But the phone will stay in your pocket well if that makes sense? The hard shell on the Candy is great for EDC. But if I was jogging, going to the park with my kids, anything that might jiggle the phone out of my pocket I put the grippy Speck Pixel skin on it.

For most days the Candy Shell is perfect. Really most other cases I have tried have been pure CRAP. Speck is the best maker for Iphone cases. IMHO

I also run a clear face shield. One comes with the Candy Shell. I tried the anti glare ones and they fog up the screen making it blurry. I would rather deal with glare every now and then than have a foggy looking screen ALL the time.

Go Candy Shell first, then look into a Pixel skin if you want the phone glued in your pocket. (It will hardly ever move with the Pixel skin, if you put it in your pocket upright... It will stay upright all day )

Just read your post again, and it looks like your looking for a clip carry case?

My post above are both in the pocket cases  If you are looking for a clip carry case, I can't help. I only carry in the pocket. :)

I use an Otterbox belt holster for my Blackberry. The thing is dang tough, and after I broke the first one (they aren't easy to break), Otterbox sent me a new one. I'm a fan.

Forget I mentioned it! I'm so mad right now. I ordered the otterbox and literally 3 minutes after i got it, i was on the phone and complaining. The "newest" incarnation of the holster does not hold the phone at all let alone securely. Apparently it's an engineering flaw that will take months to fix if they fix it at all. I'll keep shopping. Thanks for all your great suggestions and input.
