Hello,
I am new to the forum.
Can anyone identify this as an original Vietnam Lagana Tomohawk??
I have never seen this type of sheath before? Ebay Item number: 170153815449.
Thanks for your help.

Looks a little odd to me. I would bet its not a LaGana
He never made a sheath like that. They were leather and stamped

Be very careful in purchasing a Vietnam tomahawk. There are only a few people who can authenticate them. I would need to see very good close up pics or handle the piece my self. Someone got ripped off on that one.

I too am new to the forum, and I have to say, I know it's bad, but I hope you guys are right..... I was watching that hawk, and was a little pissed that the price shot so high. I am not a Vietnam Era collector, so $400 was too much for me.... But thanks for brightening my day :D

I wrote to the Seller as well as the Buyer regarding this one...neither got back to me. I received a phone call regarding this one as well.

It is not authentic and obviously, very overpriced. It appears to me to be a Taylor.

Since the buyer did not get back to me, I have to assume the entire lot in itself was a sham.

If you want to get a QUALITY ATC Vietnam Hawk, go to Fehrman Knives and buy from them. They have the real deal. GUARANTEED.
