Here is some of the newer good stuff I got of late thanks to Skunk. I had eight glasses and gave one to my bike mechanic when he finished building the bike today.

Now she isn’t my usual Friday night ride (that one had to work) but I got to ride this one for the first time:D and she is sweet. Real tight (new ones just always seem that way don't they) and feels slick and light at the same time, like I could just put her right where I want her real quick. But I swear she knew what I wanted her to do before I ask! I took her out tonight for the first time and pound on her good, she just seemed to just want more, but I was so excited that I was pumping a little too fast and I was finished after 90 minutes.:o .

In the second photo she is naked:eek: so I don'tknow how long the photo will last here.

ROTFLMAO.....90 minutes hey, come on!
She hasn't quite lost her virginity in such a short period;):D

Nice .... Custom Fitted Frame!!

Someone enjoys the good things in life! :D

Very cool pics!!

My wife has a custom steel framed serrotta cyclocross bike, and this just reminded me how much it cost:eek:

The best part is I can remind her if she ever says anything about my knives;)
(then again... she only has one bike:foot: I better not bring it up)

You have very good taste in knives:thumbup:

cool pics, what's that frame made of?

Thanks,

Titanium and carbon fiber.

The top tube (the one between the seat and bars) is carbon fiber and so is the down tube (the other black tube) and the rest is titanium. The frame weights about the same as an FBM LE.

The seat tube (the one the seat sticks out of) and the down tube flare out from about one inch to about 1.5 as you go down to the crank set. So it is very stiff where you need it and transfers power well, but it rides very soft. It is like Mercedes 500 ride with Porsche performance. And the ride quality is why I have three of this guy’s frames.

If you have a mtb I'd love to see that one too.

OK I'll go down to the garage and cut it from the herd in a while. It is an Ellsworth Truth. But Im not a Mt Biker so it isn't a real hot set up.

Here is my cross frame... a custom from a guy I know in Italy.

Hi Tony,

Nice HiFi system too....are those Magnepan Loudspeakers?? What kind of setup do you have precisely?

Nice bike.

I know all about custom frames. My distorted proportions make off the rack bicycles unsuitable.

On my first custom, I was measured for fit and at some point in the design process the builder said this can't be right and adjusted the numbers. I couldn't sprint because my knees would hit my elbows.

I had to give up cycling a few years back. It was right around the time that cell phones, SUV's and using cell phones while driving SUV's became common in my area. I quit for health reasons.

Vandersteen 3A Signature Speakers

Eagle Power Amp - made by a Navy guy that designed Submarine Sonar amplification. He strangely disappeared about 7 years ago. 150 watts per channel, peak 350 but it puts out current! Like over 30 amps a side. It has massive capacitors (or whatever it uses to store juice) when you cut the power to the amp it will still drive the speakers for about 30 - 40 seconds at full listening levels.

All tube Audio Note Pre Amp – this is the real deal class A pre amp. The guy at the audio shop races bikes and he had some nut job trade this one in for a $90,000 Amp! Otherwise I would have never bought one.

And a class A – Naim CD player and power supply.

My Nephew works for an audio cable company so he got me some good cables that are not generally available and he is working on getting me two Mark Levinson mono block amps. (if you are not into audio that means each speaker is driven by its own power amp.)

It sounds good , when I put on something like Beethoven’s Piano concertos it is very moving…. even for the neighbors…. If I’m in that mood. Have to be careful with hard rock or you could over heat the speakers (drivers maybe... I'm not a tech jock, just listen)

So yes I had yet another addiction at one time, although a minor one for audio nuts.

I'm cold from the ride time for a scotch from those HOT NEW GLASSES...

Anyone ready?

Wow, I'll drink one to that. Very nice!! I'm also kind of a HiFi fan (seen this, done that, never satisfied with the sound) But finally scaled down and back to basics and enjoying the music!!). My setup:
Speakers: Dynaudio Crafft (that's where my forumname comes from! these puppies also do like a lot of current)
Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 (integrated)
CD-player: Meridian 588

Now I'll pour myself a Higland Park 12yo Scotch

Cheers!

Very nice bike. Glad to see you went with Campy instead of shimaNO  Definitely a man with taste....

Nice system and yes it is about music not gear....

Cheers... I just opened a 15 YO Dalwhinnie that I have no g-d dam idea who gave me. It is good, BUT then it just may be the Busse shot glasses. Could it be like the water into wine miracle? You know you pour water into the Busse glass and it tastes like JW Blue.

Now that would sell!

I have a thing about Shimano. I had a brand new Shimano group the year they came out with 9-speed and the brakes were so bad they were scary. It turns out the pads were all wrong but Shimano kept telling everyone that all was cool. The pads were so bad that they would GrindDucci the rims so badly that I had to rebuild the wheels. I sold off the group and never looked back.

I also have this expensive Shimano casting reel that I bought for an Alaska trip because I broke my right arm about three weeks before the trip and I couldn’t cast a fly rod all day. By the end of the week it would reengage the spool mid cast. What a hunk of crap!:grumpy:

"GrindDucci" - (as a verb) will it be in the Oxford English Dictionary after the next update?
