I was shopping the other night, and ran across the beer isle at the local grocerer. I like to try different micro brews and seasonals. The store seems to have a good selection and is always changing. I'm looking and seeing nothing new. I am just about to leave when I caught a Sam Adams case out of the corner of my eye. I turned and looked. I got very happy to see the first shipment of Octoberfest!
My friends and I Like to have a yearly competition to see who can find it first. Looks like I won, so they each owe me a beer! Anyhow I love the fall, as it is my absolute favorite time of the year! Leaves changing, cooler temps., hunting, football, and of course Oktoberfest! Thought I would take a few pics to share one of my favorite seasonals accompanied by one of my favorite folders! For me it is the most wonderful time of the year! Especially with all that fun stuff to look forward to! Enjoy!

You got me all exited for Chistmas and I was trying to think what month it was. I didn't get much sleep last night.

Fantastic weather, great beer, and football... you're right, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year :D
 
This is perhaps the best part of the year, summer weather without biting flies, the nights are getting longer, the harvest is coming in, and the hunting season is around the corner.
 
You start talking about Octoberfest and I'm in! Love that beer, every year. I look forward to the fall, and the beautiful autumn hues that make walks in the park with the Mrs. very enjoyable. That 0561 totally completes the picture, and makes me more excited for my 0560 to arrive. :D
 
Have never tried any Sam Adams brews. You may have just inspired me to give this a try if I can find it around here.

If you like malty beers, you will like it! And I heard when you drink it, it makes your Zt cut better.

and if you drink too much, it can make your zt bite back.lol I try not to combine alcohol with pointy things very often.;)
 
It's a great time! The weather is start to cool, bow season opens in a few weeks, and soon family will be coming to town for the holidays. What an I got it made! I'm truly thankful!

And let's not forget one of the most important things of all, I get my heart broken by my Miami dolphins!!!!

I can't believe that I went from absolute rejection the first time I saw a picture to it being my favorite folder. Gonna have to pull it out of the box and put it back on the shelf to fondle and flip.

But first I am going to have to get me some "O F" beer to try...I like beer!
 
Was picken up some brew yesterday before getting the log splitter going and saw this, and I thought back to this. Always need something to drink when operating hydraulic equipment. While I enjoy fall and all, the cold weather means work can get slow, so not always welcomed by me and my kind.
