It's been some time - Some press forging pics

Hey folks,

It's been a while since I posted something... I'll have plenty of new pics soon of new stuff I'm experimenting with, for now I'm posting some press forging.

These are some somewhat old pictures of two of the first knives I've made using my new press, forging to shape with it. For both knives I've used just one 200 grams SAE 52100 ball bearing (you can see some on the pics)

A full tang.

An integral with hidden spine.

And then a friend of mine come home the other day with a piece of S1 steel to make an axe head.

These are the pics of the forging process:

My friend later took it to his place to finish the grinding and adding a handle to it.
