Anyone have any grand plans? Let's hear about 'em. I just got back from a nice paddle and hope to repeat the process tomorrow. There will also be some grillin' & chillin'. :D Hope you all have a good one!

No solid plans, spent the last 4 days working on a shoot-house constructed of RR cross ties!
Probably hiking, paddling, grilling and watching fireworks.
 
orlando fl gun and knife show and I will be at it once again. I will be writing bladefourms.com on the back of my cards.
 
The 4th is SWMBO's birthday. I will of course be working 2,000 miles from home.
 
Going to a BBQ and watching a UFC fight tonight, probably nothing tomorrow, and picking up my first handgun on Monday (I have Monday off, but the gun club is open :))

Careful.....1st handgun becomes 20th as they are addictive ;)

Of course....shooting on the Dept. Pistol Team helps as an excuse.

Stomper: drinking and thinking, I tried it, didnt' work, I now just stick to the drinking part.

2000 pistol for the team: does that really work? Do you think my bride will believe the department has a knife team? Considering she also works for the dept, I don't think so!

I can barely type the last question, but I have been told that ribs either started or finished in a crock pot are fall off the bone perfect and tasty. Has anyone tried this?

Sounds like fun. I just got to Laredo Texas. I got some groceries and now I'm hiding from the heat.
 
sitting out back with my three year old, chasing each other with the hose, grilling hamburgers, hotdogs, and corn, loving the fact that we live in the best county in the world! Happy Fourth everyone!

Not much of anything, here.

My stupid back is out, again, due to work. Cuts down on the activity level.
Did clean my kahr, TZ75, and Hi-power, though.

Used my RUSK MAX to chop up some kindling. Nothing like 90 degree plus weather to get the mind thinking about winter.

Read a bunch of books. Finished the latest Robert B. Parker book last night. Started a Terry Brooks one this morning.

Oh, and I have eated at least 6 roast beef sandwiches on sliced italian bread, with tomato and swiss cheese, in the past few days. My new favorite food.
 
I am off for the holiday! Made a figure 4 trap today just to see if I could do it, and it came out well! I was thinking about placing it at our bedroom door for when the cat comes in to get let out EVERY day at 430 AM.

LOL Nice......an Apache foot hold would work nice for the cat too!
Just make sure the Wife doesn't step in it.
