This would be a decision of or great sales dept.We did make a few proto's of the Military in blue and red G10 about two years ago.
See how the blue BF Native goes over.

I'm not so sure about the millenium.
The first century starts with year 1 and ends with (the end of) Year 100. the 2nd century starts with year 101 and ends with year 200. So I wonder if this millenium ends by the end of year 1999.
So the Y2K problem is a problem of the 20th century and the blue handled spydies another year anway.
