I try. I really try to do fair and honest comparisons. But I use folders or kitchen knives for most of my small cutting chores. For the small fixed blade comparison, I needed an expert. "Which knife to you prefer for slicing limes?" Yes, that is the question I posed to my barmaid at the local knife and gun club. Lulu was up to the challenge.
She liked the bottle opener feature on the Becker Necker, but found the handle to be less comfortable than the Izula II.
The Izula was smooth and comfortable, a superb lime slicer. We have a winner! the Izula II. Not that I needed it, but it did nicely on the daily meat loaf special, too.
