can I get a little clarification,since these should start appearing at retail soon?

Sheath system will include: Ambidextrous Sheath, MOLLE lock, Paracord (for cord wrapping handle or use as a neck lanyard), cord lock, Snap (for snapping system on to outdoor gear), MOLLE lock, Split Ring, Fire Steel, Whistle, Sheath and Cord Wrapping Instruction Sheet.

misch or ferrocerium? options for color of the paracord and lock? what kind of snap? type of whistle?

sorry if this has been detailed, but there are over a hundred threads on this forum that mention the izula.
 
Jeff is out of town but upon his return hopefully he will be able to clarify this matter for you ! Great question & only he has the answers

man now that i am looking foreward to. great size for a nice day hike and has some extras for fun or incase something might happen. cant wait to get one. HURRY UP GUYS!!!::p don make me buy a becker...oh wait gonna do that anyways doh...:D
 
That firestarter looks like the BCB fireflint that they sell on the site on its own. It's used by SAS and the RAF, apparently. It's a ferro rod with magnesium inside of it according to the site.
 
I believe so,just by looking at the picture ,I have not seen it in person so I am just going from pic.
