Hello all! I just got my first Izula in the mail, its one tough little guy! I want to get some paracord to wrap it up but don't know where the best place to buy it from is ... I'm looking for a site that sells in feet, i'm looking to buy around 10 feet or so of orange and black.

Thanks!

Everywhere I have found sells it at 50 foot minimums. Just pick a color you like and get the 50' - you'll use it all eventually.

BTW, I like Supply Captain (100 foot and 1,000 foot bundles only, though).

I have bought from knivesshipfree.com and ben's backwoods. Both very reliable and easy to deal with. I think you will have a hard time finding just 10'though. Get a 50' hank. Then you can experiment with knots, lanyards, bracelets and soon enough you'll need more:D

I've bought it on Ebay from a store that sells 25 ft lengths for $1.88 plus shipping.

Be very careful when wrapping the Izzy. Do a search on "bite".

Light hound very good selection and prices. Quick and customer service outstanding!! Ordered some stuff surprised at cost if shipping but thought oh well. I got an email stating shipping system was down defaulted to more expensive shipping so I was charged more. Well I still got upgraded shipping but at original "lower" price and I didn't have to do anything nor did I ever mention it. Anyway at least look em up you can order by the foot.

Ryan beat me to it...for god sake...don't cut yourself...too many threads on that lately ... even "professionals" wrapping their Izulas can become "bloodbrothers"

Yea, I have been reading a lot of these, I'll be sure to be careful ... don't want to end up in the ER

I haven't cut myself yet too. I don't see how anyone can get cut when wrapping the izula, coz the sheath is damn tight!

when tying the finishing knot, people have a tendency to pull away, it pops the knife and it bites flesh hard.

It can pop-off if you put pressure in the right spot and when you do the blood can fly. Be carefull!
