What are the differences between proto and production model such as thickness, grind, size?

I think the size and grinds are the same. The proto's did not have the coating on them while the production versions do as well as having logo and unique i.d. numbering.

I might be wrong on this, but the initial specs for the the Izula were 3/16" (0.188") and this was later changed to .145" thickness. I do not know if the proto's adopted this change or not, but I'm pretty sure the production are due for the .145". Anyhow this is off the top of my head while following the development of the Izula via the ratcutlery forum. The ratteam can provide the most appropriate clarification.

As far as I know, the production version will be made of a thinner stock to improve cutting ability and they are also going to be a full flat grind.

It's not quite a full flat grind since there is a slight amount of flat at the spine, but it's real close.
