Anyone got any pics of the Izula, I'm going through withdrawls without hearing or reading about it for a while.:o

I can not wait for the release but until then I will use the Pinky

Will they all have S/N #s? Or is that just for the preproductions?
Pinky is first on my list, but I'll also have to pick up a black one later on to match the other rats in my walls.

I just have a couple of prototype pics - and the prototype itself. :D

It will be some time before I get a production probably. I still with though. Probably a pink for the wife too.

Hope these help.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, the ETA of these are 12-15-08, and there is still no MRSP yet, but they got the sheath clicking just right. The colors that will be offered are OD green, pink, tan, and black. (did I miss any ) Also you can choose to get the knife + a survival kit or just knife.

The last I heard, per my understanding, is the knife and sheath will be available without the rest of the kit that RAT had planned.

I like the way the minimalist kit is put together to go with the knife, however. The trap trigger rig using the split rings, I'm going to have to give that a go out in the woods and see what I can do with it, etc.

I'm beginning to feel like a broken record on the issue really...I swapped my Becker Necker months ago to one of two e-vile brothers so I was in the market to have an equally good neck knife (even though I am not inclinded, for the most part to carry them that way). The Izula looks to be far superior than the Becker Necker.

The Izula looks to be the balls-to-the-wall survival kit knife along with the Fire Kit and perhaps the E&E Kit later on. I'll probably put them all in a book I am currently writing. 8-)

Kwik-Points as well...I have friends who are Mexican, Honduran and Peruvian at work and my Wife wants to give the Medical Kwik-Point Translator a go at her job because she always has foreign speaking patients that need help on Rx issues, etc.

Oh yea and nice izula Don, I've had 3 years of spanish and I still couldn't tell you have the stuff on that page.

Nice! I can't for this either.

Comentario: Izula existe en la selva peruana, es una de las hormigas más grandes que existen, y su mordedura es muy dolorosa.

Comment: The Izula (the ant) lives in the Peruvian rain forest, and is one of the biggest ants alive, and its bite is very painful.

:-)

Mine will be "tactical" pink! It's the next best thing to blaze orange!:thumbup:

I won an Izula in the contest! (I hope they don't send me a pink one :barf:)
But If they do, I'll just strip it and satin it! I'm just happy to have been the lucky draw!

Aww is there no love for the pink.:D, not only are they easy to spot in the jungle but I bet they would make great mother's day presents.
