gecs on each side are big jacks & the middle knife is moose big horn. big horns have a clip blade at each end & are somewhat rarer in pattern selection.

That is some good stag. I have a Big Jack myself, and GEC is right to call it big, it's handful.

i've noticed you guys seem to prefer the big jacks over the moose. i carry a gec mdl23 in one blade or their muskrat.i would appreciate some feedback on the big jack or moose preferance. i collect those patterns since they are attractive but carry the mentioned models. if i was going to be in boonies for longer than 2 weeks i would prefer the big jack.

I like the Moose in that double clip configuration. While I can see why folks would like the big jack, but on big equal end frames with two large blades, my eye tends to favor the blades on opposite ends.

I just got a genuine stag big jack and it sure is a handful of knife. Really intense. Love it.

That Moose is just about perfect for a LARGE carry edc although I usually carry something smaller. Beautiful Stag on all of them.

I like the big jack, because I just like it.

Dennis,

Yours clearly suck though, you should send them to me for respectful disposal. :p

I currently carry a GEC Big Jack, and love it.

Matter of fact I like all the GEC patterns on this frame, (For me a Cattleman and a Harness Jack as well)

A moose might be my next GEC as the only Moose I have currently is a Case in Black G10

Good looking knives. Nice pic too.

Fantastic knives!

I've really been digging those Big Jacks lately and would love to see a picture of one with a blade in the full-open position, if you could.

I don't have a moose yet, either, but it's on the list. The harness jack doesn't appeal to me, maybe because I don't need a punch blade.

I like Dennis' moose with the two clip blades...that's on the "list", too.

Fine looking knives.

Question.
With knives that are a 'handful', when is it easier to carry a sheath knife?

agree about the harness jack, its not visually attractive. however members have stated the punch blade is very difficult to make.when we were using mules & the big draft horses[percheron, claydedales' & belgium] the men working the fields really needed a punch blade to make temporary repairs to harness leather. these gentle giants were the 1st ride for many rural youngsters.
