java script and disconnect problem

Spark,
I'm having a couple of problems here that started up recently.

One is that every time the index page comes up, I get a warning box on top of the screen that says, "Java Script Error, Line 34, this cookie has no properties.

The other problem is that I keep getting disconnected from my server when I try to download the General Discussion forum, even when I trim it to display only the topics from the last day. Seems like it takes forever to download, and my server gets tired of waiting and logs me offline.

Your first problem may be solved by reseting your cookie. You can do this by going to you preferences and reset your cookie.

The later problem may be related to the first so try that and see if it goes away.

What browser are you using, and what speed modem do you have? We have our systems set so that the maximum number of threads displayed at any time on the forums is 75, so any ISP should be able to download the entire page.

The fact that your's is automatically disconnecting you says that something isn't right with your connections. You shouldn't be automatically disconnected just from a few seconds of inactivity.

Call your ISP and find out what settings you need to change to prevent the disconnects and please keep me apprised of this situation.
