Let me add something, ever so obvios, Jim Siska makes the best knife as far as fit and finish go, for the money.
In my opinion, the best of the bunch is the Siska knives that are in the Vanguard series. CPM 3V, with the above quality for $525 in 7", that is the best knife for the money available on the planet.
Sure wish i had one.

Ive been buying knives from Jim for 13 years. I agree with Matt, he is definetly makes one of the best knives for the money.
The bad news is that Jim has taken a new job. This job will be cutting into his knifemaking. Jim told me about a month ago that he will probably be to make only 40 knives a year.
Sure am glad I ordered those 50 Vanguard knives a year ago!
Start looking for Jim's work to become hard to get and go up in price in the aftermarket.
