What a stunner......

I've been a BIG fan of Jim's work and have been on 'The List' for a couple of years.....got an e-mail from Mr. Smyth and my time had come!!!

Words cannot describe only that it's Abalone, purple ano'd ti on the inside, 4 1/4" of 154CM, silky smooth and ,yes, the bolsters turn with the blade.......it just doesn't get much better, IMHO.

I do not like folders but I like the shape of this ones blade very much . great knife congrats

Hey Dudley...

YESSS! The cool factor is off the charts. There is nothing 'necessary' in this design. It's an exercise in outside thinking.

Thanks for the post. Knowing Jim, and his attention to detail, I can only imagine how good it feels to open and close.

Yup.

TKC has it right!!! That is really thinking outside the box and then making it reality.

Great folder from a person who is even better than his work. It does not get better than that!

congratulations.

That is just too cool. Not hard to understand why you're so pleased. Congrats!

VERY cool. The shape and style are unique, and the workmanship looks top shelf too.

You must be thrilled to have it!

Congrats.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Dudley's a great guy and got a one of a kind there. :D Enjoy, brother. :)

Beautiful and interesting. Help me understand how the bolsters rotate with the blade. Maybe a brief series of pics illustrating this would help. Thanks!
