I know a lot of you guys like to use your JK's in the kitchen for food prep, and kitchen use is usually what my knives get used on first when I get them, because it is simple and you do it everyday. Lets see some JK's in the kitchen! (camp cooking counts)

I posted some kitchen work waaaaay back when I got my first two JK's. I better do a update soon. Those two were the standard Nessie and the first Kephart that John sold.

Nice seeing the knives used.

Is that maple on the kephart? It's gorgeous.

Damn, now I'm hungry, at 1:30 am.

Here's an older pic of a rattlesnake. Just finished cutting up some chicken for the wife.

Hi C Bryant -

Most of my use of my JK's has been in the kitchen - not all, but certainly most.

I used my wife's RWC today to cut up my turkey for lunch.

Here are a couple of pictures of JK's at work in my kitchen -

How do those scales hold up to slime/water and stuff in the kitchen? Were they treated with anything? I have maple burl scales on my knife but i've been trying not to grab it after i have fish slime/water or anything else on my hands. Don't want to stain/swell them up.
