Yes, it's true! After the Arkansas Show John designed a neck knife that reflects his views on what a high performance small cutter should be.

The big news though is that the handles are precision fitted and interchangeable!

Great looking knife and with only 10 they should not last long.
By the way, congratulations to John on his win in the Piney Woods Cutting Competition.

Keith.

I have had the priviledge of holding this particular knife and it has an awesome edge and great attention to detail. The interchangeable scales is a neat option as well. Although I was not thrilled with the blade shape at first it is now growing on me.

Anybody that gets a John Fitch blade will not be disappointed. I hope to own a Fitch blade myself someday.

Kevin and John will treat you right should you decide to order.

Very interesting design. Looks just like mine.

Danbo,

While your smaller piece is definitely the predecessor to this piece and certainly made with different materials

it is the "germ" that sprouted this piece design-wise according to John... some design differences but definitely in the same family tree. Hang onto that prototype!!

Congrats again on a stunning knife!

Kevin, sick as it sounds, I have actually sharpened mine a little. I just couldnt stand not doing something to it! Once I do a little sharpening on a knife, I am less likely to want to trade or sell the knife. This one, I want to keep. I do love that stag handled one though.

Dan,

Nothing sick about it brother

I use the damascus Fitch neck knife almost every day that John made me and love the performance and looks!

I fell in love with that knife of yours right off to bat! Man what a knife. This convertible knife is larger and the handle scales flush on the edges with the tang/handle steel... very much in the same family though.

Smile while you are cutting with that Fitch neck knife!
