Hello guys ,I'm back up n running, after Irene. I have 2 up here for your consideration.
These are new from John, current production & are of his current fit & finish,as he progresses as a custom slipjoint maker. The fit & finish is very good at the asking.Inside the trough,on the spring, you may find some light spotting/patina on the 52100,also,you may find a handling mark here or there.Satisfaction garauntee'd,returned to me. Check my feedback here. Please do not purchase these fine & useable & collectable slipjoints in hopes to send back to John for re working,as he is not interested at this time, only making a real nice pocketknife for your use & enjoyment,at fair prices.
I will describe as best I can,as I always do.
So here we go,prices are shipped via USPS ,Con US included, insured & tracking, too.
US Postal M.O preferred
Paypal plus fee
Bull horn shadow is 3-3/4" closed,6-5/8" open,52100 hollow ground blade is 2-7/8" tip to scale woth a 2-5/8" cutting edge.Blade has a spot on one side by the plunge grind line/tang.Closed off center & has rub marks. Very snapping bear trap snap.Light & tight! Very nice blade profile on this trapper Fish shield from Missouri
The nicest bull horn I've ever seen $200.
I think this Mammoth knife is a reverse gunstock jack pattern. It is 4" closed, just shy of 7" open,2-7/8" blade of 52100 ,with a 2-5/8" cutting edge Long pull firm snap, with even smooth pull. Nice traditional shield Very nice one $260.
Liners are mill reliuved & ss,and other hardware ss,shields are pinned & blades have swedges,on both
Pics today & I did not clean these up,its true to life & what you see. Excellent offerings from John !!
