Junglas sheath system.

I am thinking of buying a junglas from my local dealer when it
comes back in stock.I want just the knife, so I can make my own
sheath.Will a 12''x12'' kydex sheet be large enough for the 10.4"" blade??
Does anyone know the length in inches of the factory sheath from end
to end.Much appreciated:)
 
You can buy Kydex cut into 12" x 24" squares if you buy two pieces from some places. You might want to try that unless you are really good/experienced with Kydex.
 
you should have just enough length wise and more that enough width wise with a 12x12 sheet. The Junglas looks like its around a 12 inch sheath.
 
Thanks for the help.I will go ahead and use my 12x12 kydex to make
a fold over style sheath.I will post pics when done.I will use urban or
forest camo pattern.I will add either a large techlock or g-clip.

a 12" x 12" square has a 22" diagonal length if you want a few more inches to play with
 
Just curious why you don't want the stock sheath system, when it truly is excellent?

Either way. We will require pics when you're done :D
