I just finished watching the documentary aired on CBS - the 2 filmmakers that followed the firefighters into the WTC.

I kept telling myself: someday, somebody's gonna have to pay for this...

It would have been easier if it had been committed by a specific nation, country or government. We would have just declared war and anhilated them. But it's not that simple, and we can't really "payback" or get restitution.


BTW, rlinger, I have been trying to email you for a while now and the messages bounce back. Any idea? I'm still interested in any cherry pieces you might have.

Please do not think I have forgotten my promise to you. I do still have your email address. I have transmitted my request to my Pop for cherry scraps. It is just that seldom do I get back to his place. Believe me true, I remember you and my promise. I will be getting back with him before long in person (around about turkey season, Oct. 19 here). As for the email stuff; my email is with 'netzero'. They suck and are ,from my experience, almost worthless. Communicate with me here as far as the cherry goes. The cherry will not be old. It will be kiln dryed and scap pieces of normal cherry grain and figure. He gets stuff for home furniture use so please do not expect spectacular figure but it is pretty straight grain as cherry normally goes.

As for not a specific government or country - nuts. There are plenty that have been proven to qualify. CBS? That is a good point of reference?

Well, some major slamdunk would be seriously satisfying; as far as I'm concerned the only good Muslim extremist terrorist is a set of Muslim extremist bones clanking in the wind. I find it amusing none of those perpetrator leaders have had stuck their noses up for a year. What ever happened to those brave and happy leaders? Pussies. They cower, counting the few miserable days left them. This much hate and anger though will make my grinding suffer, so I shake it off and await my satisfaction quietly.

The footage was amazing. You almost felt you were there. You could taste the dust...


Here's something to chew on:

A few soundbits have been floating around the media quoting President Bush's words on the War on Terror. Whoever made the soundbits, made them sound like the old recordings of Kennedy's famous sayings: "The only fear..."

Is President Bush on the same level as Kennedy? Higher? Lower? apples and oranges?

I was thinking one thing and typing another.

The campaign had that quote from FDR "The only thing to fear, is fear itself", a quote from Kennedy "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country", (a few others I have now forgotten) and a few quotes from President Bush including his "Let's Roll" quote.

I'm not slamming the pres, nor am I putting him on a pedestal (yet). But have his actions merited this kind of comparison?

quotes, we know were to strike. and if we have to do it with the brits and isreal as our only true allies, so be it. we lost about 250.000 men liberating western europe from germany. ww11, then protected them from the soviets. now this wine swilling bagett and chesse munching cowards are busy selling stuff to saddam. next time they can bail thier own butts out. GOD BLESS AMERICA
 
Personally, I think the UN should be told to vacate the premises, right after we resign from it.
Perhaps they could move to France.:eek: :D
