I've been a member of BF for a little over a year now and usually hang out in the general knife discussion/Kershaw/Buck sub-forums. I have to say that I enjoy the Buck forum the most, and not just because I love Bucks. I find most everyone here helpful and friendly, unlike some of the other forums where sarcasm and rudeness seems so prevalent.

Thanks y'all, It's a pleasure hangin' out here. :)

It is a great place,I've been a member on many forums and rarely is there ever a crowd like you'll find here, for the most part everyone gets along and there is none of that foolishness that ruins a forum all too quick.Enjoy your time here,i know i sure do!

Thank you Ono. I think along the same lines. In some of the other forums I can post some real experience, taking years to obtain and they will make light of it and go on. Here they just make light of me cause my wife can shoot better. DM ;)

While we aren't perfect here, by any means, I believe it is out of the Christian attitudes and faith and respect for the Buck family.

As well as how so many of us have been treated in our dealings with Buck.

In a nutshell.

I absolutely concur with ono724 on this. As a rank newbie I truly appreciate the willingness of the members of this forum to share so generously, politely, and patiently of their knowledge. I must admit the enthusiasm in contagious…. I have printed the 110 data sheets and find myself squinting at the pictures on ebay looking for the little dashes and thingys on the blade stamp:) I hardly ever post, but I like you guys, love the knives, and couldn’t be more pleased with what I hear of the company. Thanks!

While I don't think it's either appropriate or acceptable to say that one religion is superior to another, there is another explanation for the lack of nastiness on this forum.

We're all just such nice guys.

And......most of us are not the young and more volatile Tack-T-Cool types. We've aged some and moved beyond petty fighting about insignificant stuff.

There may be a certain lack of energy contributing to the quiet atmosphere, too. A certain percentage have dozed off at any given time. I know I'm in and out after my nightly medicinal glass of wine.

:D

The knowledge and experience shared here on this and the "Traditionals" forum are greatly appreciated. Life is hard enough day to day to tolerate rudeness and sarcasm in an effort to be "funny". I was raised that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I honor the "elders" and appreciate the wisdom and knowledge they share. I log on everyday to see if there is something new to be learned and am seldom dissapointed. My thanks to all who share on this forum.

I haven't been hanging around this part of town for very long, but I've spent quite a bit of time over in the Traditional section, and I have to say I completely agree with you. Both of these sub-forums are such friendly places, free of bickering and negativity, filled with people who have each other's best interests at heart, and who are kind and helpful to one another. :)

Well said PR

Glad you enjoy the forum ono, that is how I felt from the beginning. I hate to even travel to other subforums, seems mods continuously have to referee on them.
