Hi all,

It's been a while since I've been around but I can see that things still seem to be going great. A lot of new names, but a lot of familiar ones also.

Life got crazy for the last year and a half but I'm creeping back around to fiddliing with some knives again. Brief update, I'm now in San Angelo working on a MS in Biology.

Anyway, I'd like to get a hold of Wayne Goddard's books as well as Ed Fowler's book. Anybody have contact info for Wayne Goddard?

Thanks

I sure recommend Ed Fowler's book. Just started back on my second time in less than 2 weeks. Believe I learned more from it and his video than I'd learned in an awful lot of reading magazines and forum posts. Not to say don't learn a lot here. I do and love this forum. Even though will never become a maker, knowing what you guys are thinking and doing is some of the most fun in knife knuttiness. Of course, too, much, much more to learn than anybody who'd even tried once to make a knife.

Best part of my faulty memory, is that so much of the book seems new already to me!

Why would you never become a knifemaker? You never know what you can do, until you try. It's kind of relaxing at times, especially when things are going right.
