I am very proud to say I just completed my initial Buck Knife collection. It contains the ten (10) black handled beauties by Buck--the 102, 103, 105, 107, 116, 118, 119, 120, 121 and 124. All but one, a 121 that was gifted to me by Buck back in the 60s when I was an outdoor writer, were purchased off Ebay. I would like to post a photo of the display, but being a new contributor do not know how to do it.

Welcome to the Buck forum William! Go to photobucket.com,make a free account. Then upload your photos, when they're done click on share and copy link code for forums then paste to insert link on Bladeforum. That's the way I do it,hope it makes sense.

If you have any doubt as to which link to copy, it's the one that starts with .

Then you just paste that into your post the reply box here and your picture will appear.

Also remember that your picture will stay on this forum only as long as you keep it on Photobucket......it will vanish here if you delete it from Photobucket.

Congrats on the collection.

You can also hit "Go Advanced" down below and then click on that paper clip icon up above and load pictures direct from your own computer.

You'll then end up with something like this (which gets bigger when you put your cursor on it).

This method is rumored to save bandwidth and load faster for those who have issues with slow connections, I'm not sure if that's true.

Good luck.

Am doing something wrong, but do not know what. I placed picture on photobucket.com and tried to upload it with no results. I went to go advanced, but did not find a paperclip.

You might have to set the size on your photobucket to the size that this forum will accept(see FAQ's), also make sure youre using IMG or IMGthumb and not html or others.

Once you upload photo click on it and it gets big then on top click share then click get img code then highlight image code and click copy.once on the forum click on insert image at the top and paste, hope this makes sense Bill.

William, I didn't stop and think that there must be restrictions against you because you are a "registered user."

I guess you have to upgrade to use the methods being recommended here.

Another registered user probably knows better what to do in your case.

I just know how to do what I do.....sorry.

William, keep trying with photobucket. You'll figure it out...we're patient!

Registered users must use a host such as photobucket, as they cannot add attachments.

This is how I do it...When in photobucket, Left click on the IMG code of the photo you wish to post. Then in the BF Quick Reply box, Right click and copy the IMG code into the Quick Reply box. If you wish to preview your post, click on the "Go Advanced" and there is a preview post option.

William, Yes thats been my issue all along. I didn't upgrade my membership and its much more difficult to post photos. Are your Buck 100 series knives stamped all one line, two line or three line? DM

William, I gave up on a all 100 collection, glad to see you got it.

I am not sure if regular forum membership works this way but here is how I do it. Post photos that is.

I save two photos on my computer program, one full size and one NO more than 800mp at its largest width. I have been using 650mp because it keeps the photo centered in my screen better.

I load the small photo on PhotoBucket then place arrow on picture so that the box that says edit, etc. shows. I go over where the others are talking about, it is the box in a box that starts out with [ IMG and right click on that whole line of text to save it.

I then go to my BladeForum thread writing area and right click again to download that same line of data including the [ and ] . You will not see a photo till you upload your attachment on to the particular thread you are at the end of on BladeForum. Again, I usually type text then click to make the photo info appear. When you attach your text box you wrote in the photo will actually appear.

Thats the way I do it anyway...... If you go directly thru BladeForums you can only use a photo 450mp or less in size.

Good Luck.......300Bucks

They are mixed. Many are with fold over sheaths with no date code, putting them in the '71 to '86 class. A few are newer, but a continue to look for early ones.

they sure make thing difficult. Much easier to send a picture via email. That way you don't have do dance all over the internet.
