Yeah, I've been wondering for quite awhile now. Wasn't it "Knife of the Year" for what, 2011? We're getting closer to 2013...
 
I figure it'll be out in 2777. It sure looks like futuristic, and the model number must mean something.
 
I know that Thomas W. recently announced a change in the initially planned blade steel (N360 cutting edge now Vanax 35), so maybe the shift halted production a bit.
 
An update would be nice, but I actually don't mind the long
wait- bide one's time to save up some scratch- and that's
hoping I got a pre-order in on time. They can take their
sweet time to refine it till they're ready for release.

Pretty much this!
 
As of right now we are machining the Carbon fiber handles. The blades are the biggest holdup, because the blanks are being cut on the Wire EDM. Trust me, we are working on these, and they are a priority.
 
Gentlemen - there are people in the world that have much bigger problems than fretting over when the $480 knife they have been waiting for will be ready for delivery.

It will be here when it gets here.

Enjoy that this is your biggest problem.

Let's not be condescending or anything..

Last I checked, this was Bladeforums and not feelsorryforeveryoneelse.com. I believe my thread is within the boundaries of knife related matter.

Guys -

I understand your frustration. I wish I had a better answer for you, but all I can do is update you, and let you know that we're working on it. I won't deny that these knives are late getting out. As always, your patience is appreciated, and your frustration is understandable. We have made great strides with our capacity problem at the factory, but we still need more. We have even purchased a new machining center just to help with the 0777 project (and future high end projects).
