I put the finishing touches on this tonight. I can hardly put it down. I makes me want to holler and sink it to the hilt in a pioneers noggin:D Just kidding..... but it does feel good. The weight on the choppin' edge makes it hang in the hand nicely. Deb decided to give it a thorough inspection and jabbed the point into her forehead. I took a picture of the bloody puncture in her head but she wont let me post it , somekinda gobbltygook about wrinkles. I guess it needed some blood, usually its mine. I'm going to try to get a couple more forged this w/e. Carl!...., John!.... somebody come strike for me
:)

p.s. dont look at the vines eating the house. It makes them angry when you notice them.

It aint for healin', that's for sure. It's drawn blood twice now. I was showing it to a coworker and he stabbed himself in the thumb. It amazes me that people will push on a sharp object hard enough to bleed:confused:

How much would something like that cost? I'm going into Marine Corps Security Forces and a CQB weapon would be nice, doesn't need to be able to chop wood. Security Forces use pistols, submachine guns, and shotguns, so needless to say the fighting is close.

Let me get my knifemakers membership and I'll get back with you. They understandably frown on that around here. I was , believe or not about to start trying to make a little of the thousands i've spent on learning, back. i'll go ahead and pay for the makers membership tommorow. You stationed at N.O.B? I'm just on the other side of the HRBT (tunnel).Come on by and we'll design something befitting.

I'm not in the military yet, just thinking ahead. My ship date will be in February. I was wondering what a ballpark estimate for one of those without the frills. Just that sleek little head, plain shaft, and rawhide.

Never done a bike before, I don't know if that would even be worthwhile. Leather treatment, tire shine, clean the brake dust off, somehow wash wax and buff what little paint there is, not very worthwhile.

Howdy Mark-
Wow- That's nice work amigo. Real nice. When this heat eases up I'd like to take you up on your offer for coming over & beating up on some steel. I'll pick up some blanks & some belts-
Hey Skeletor- I grew up in Chesapeake.
Cheers,
Mike
