Just got a new Case

Great knife. I find the Stockman pattern to be very useful for EDC needs. I've carried a medium Amberbone CV for about two years now.

its pretty hard to beat that one, nice score! I love mine i rotate it with my yeller medium in cv, my only gripe is its a little big in my pocket, been thinking of making myself a pocket sheath type thing to hold it vertical.
good one man i know i love mine

heres mine shortly after i got it early last year!

I've got one of those, I find it a little to big for regular carry but if I am expecting to do some serious work I'll carry the big guy. Its a favorite for sure! I love Case's CV steel and the amber bone is really nice. Most of the time I carry either that guy's little brother, the 63032 CV, or a yeller handled 3318 CV. I'm kind of a western guy and the big square bolstered stockman in amber bone matches my boots and hat real nice!

yea it is kind of big but I've been pocket carrying a SAK OHT so its not really noticeable anymore. It reminds me alot of one my grandfather use to have which adds some sentimental value to it as well.

I have one also and like it a lot. It is about as big a slippie that I can take in the pocket. I can get mine screaming sharp with a loaded strop.

I have one right here, right in front of me on my desk.

It is a terrific slipjoint knife IMO.

This knife was shaving sharp out of the box, excellent snap in all 3 blades, well matched handles with real nice f & f throughout.
Also, it looks better in person than in any picture I've seen of it.

Congrats. The 6375 is a great knife. They are a little big, but not bad..

This one is my favorite...

Is this a '70s era knife, and what do they call that bone? That is some of the prettiest Case bone I've ever seen. Nothing like it is being made today.

60's and 70's Red Bone is really pretty like that. In fact, I've seen it called Pretty Bone more than once. That one is choice.

Thanks. It is a 70's era knife, 9 dot. I have a real weakness for the stuff...
The back side matches really close to the front, which is fairly unusual. A lot of the red bones have a darker color on the back side. Some of them are even darker on both sides, almost deep maroon.
You are right BM, there isn't anything I know of thats even close in current production. I sure wish there was.

Thanks Steven. Gotta admit, I've never heard bollocks before :D
Texasflyfisher has some beautiful red bones that I always enjoy seeing...
I feel the same way about seeing pics of your old Schrades. I was a little lost when you changed the picture in your signature
Not that there is anything wrong with your S&M, its a nice lookin knife, but pics of your old Schrades are like a magnet
