Placed an order for a 1660CKT yesterday. I carried a Whirlwind for many years beginning in high school but I let it go several years ago. Since then I haven't had any Kershaws and only recently picked up a ZT 0350. Really looking forward to getting this one into my pocket. Seems to be the perfect size for EDC. So many of my folders are big and bulky and I've been searching for something a little more sleek. I'm hoping this one will fill the role. Pics on arrival. I know there are a lot of Leek fans out there. I was torn between this one and the one with the composite D2 blade. I think I'll be happy with my choice. :D

I have heard wonderful things about the leek. I am looking forward to starting to collect them in the very near future. Can't wait to see what you think when you get it as it will probably be close to my reaction when my first one comes lol.

You should be happy, the Leek is a great knife. I've rotated several in and out of my edc for years.

The leek is a special animal, it keeps everything kicked out of my pocket.

Been my favorite folder for a while now. My leek is a true work knife and edc.

You'll love it. It is a little lighter weight than I usually need, but it finds it's way into being used quite often.

I have both the Black Leek and the G10 S30V Leek, love both and hou will like yours.

Be careful. You will buy one and then next thing you know, you will have many of them!!!

The Leek was my first love in knives, and even now it might still be my favorite EDC. Enjoy it!!! :)

I own 3 Leeks. If your looking for a sleek, easy carry EDC with slick deployment and good ergos ... well, there you go.

Good choice, I think you'll be happy ...

My sister gave me a Leek as a Christmas present a couple of years ago and honestly it's just "OK" (it's also a combo edge which isn't my ideal choice). I love how thin it is, love the blade shape, and using the flipper is just downright fun. Unfortunately my framelock is very very stiff and closing the blade is more difficult than I like it to be. The lock bar is also too shallow for me so I need to use a corner of my thumb/finger to try and disengage it.

I just dug it out of the drawer and tried it again and I'm pretty sure I grimmaced when trying to close it. Perhaps I just need to use it more and it will loosen up...

My Leek showed up yesterday:) It was a great surprise as the tracking info said it wouldn't be here til monday. Anyway I love it. It came nice and sharp. I love how thin it is and the size is exactly what I was hoping for. I promptly switched the pocket clip for tip up carry. The lock up on mine is perfect. No play and easy to disengage. The assist on this one is just barely bordering a little lazy. It'll open up quick but I have to be deliberate about it. Might loosen up with use. All in all I'm very pleased. I was looking for a low profile edc blade and I think this will fit the bill. I'll try to get some pics if the sun comes back out today.

I have a bunch also. Just picked up 5 1660CKT blems off the bay just to have them around. Great knife for gifts or general use. Just wish I could find more 1660BG leeks.

I bought my first Leek when I was at school in Laramie, WY. Lost it at work climbing under a train car, she fell out and went down a hopper. It's probably part of someone's refrigerator door right now, went into a pile of iron and consequently onto a boat destined for a forge. Just got my second one (a factory second) from Amazon for $21.00, and has been in my pocket for a year now.

Oh yeah I love blems. I bought a set of 10 Leek blems really cheap on ebay and I've been giving them away to friends and family who don't own knives. And I'll probly keep one or two for me :D.
