Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know that I really like the new Shabaria. I got kind of tired of the 'typical' tactical style which has pretty much dominated my personal collection thus far.
When I first saw this knife online awhile back, I just thought it was curious looking. The more I looked at it, however, I began to appreciate it's unique look and design inspiration. Of course, in typical knifenut fashion, the have-to-have urge grew stronger- and it just showed up today, #365. A great Christmas present to myself, I might add.
Kudos to Spyderco and their efforts to bring the "Custom Collaborations" line to market. And also to the custom makers, (they make it possible)- so far each one appears very well done. I have also noticed that the quality of these knives is incredible- I only have a couple of Spydercos now, but I see that changing. I also applaud the diverse nature of the product line- very nice indeed.
I would also like to bow my head in respect for the late Mr. Eduard Bradichansky- thanks for the great design and for making one collector at least, smile a little wider.
Now perhaps, maybe the Terzuola or Lum...
Happy Holidays Everyone!
