. . .to the fellows here at the MT subforum for helping me decide on a full-sized multitool. (I have edc'ed a Micra for years, and own several SAKs, but nothing substantial in size.) I finally decided I needed/wanted a big'un, and by reading up on opinions and recommendations here in the old threads, I made my choice intelligently for a change. (Usually an impulse buyer.) Of course, instant gratification being what it is, I had to choose between the models available to me in town. (Didn't want to wait on the mail.) In the end, I decided on a SOG Powerlock. Thanks to the information I gleened here, the SOG's above par pliers and ability to be field stripped/cleaned made choosing it over LM, Gerber, and various other brands an easy one. Thanks again guys!

The PL is my heavy EDC when I'm not packing the Skeletool.
 
Nice choice. I don't have one but have had the chance to use one and was very impressed. Looks like I'll have to get me one.:D
