I have 2 KaBar Warthog knives (don't ask why I have 2 of them)because I thought the the unusual shape might be a seller. Now I am wondering why KaBar even made them....maybe it can be used as a rice paddle. Anyone out there come up with any good uses for this thing?

remember, freedom is not a spectators sport!
and those who give up freedom for security don't deserve either.

The Warthog has a decent handle and if the hump were removed it would make a nice medium/larger knife. It would be a more practical every day alternative to the Cold Steel SRK as the hollow ground blade will slice better.

Yeah, grinding the hump off would make a better looking short knife, however, why make it with the hump in the first place and it sure won't hold an edge like the SRK does. The Warthog seem kind of soft to me...nicked the blade chopping into a 2X4.

With the Warthog you can...

1. Flip the pancake AND spread the jam.
2. Cut the cake AND serve it to the ladies.
3. Paddle a canoe in a pinch.
4. Scare the horses.
5. Edge the driveway (hence the otherwise unnecessary double guard: that's where you put your feet; these guys thought of everything! Too bad the handle ain't a bit longer.)
6. Shovel goo.
7. Swat flies, spiders, cockroaches, and small birds.
8. Spank the kids.
9. Defy logic.
10. Wing it.
