Just wondering why that I hardly hear of Keith Coleman on the fourms. Granted there are surely thousand of custom makers turn out small enough numbers as to be relatively unknown. Just interested if anyone else owns any of his knives

I've carried around a CF2 for around four months now and have to say that it has been fulfilled my every expectation. As the .jpg shows it has a bolstered construction, titanium bolsters, SS liner lock, and polished micarta scales, ATS34 blade, engine turned liners. It locks up tight, packs a lot of blade for handle, secure in the hand, and comfortable to work with. Sliced up thiry five foot high cardboard boxes with no hot spots forming. It keeps an a keen edge, as well as any ATS34 blade I have used. For 350 USD, I don't think it can be beat, a true hand made custom, but one maker, not his shop.

hey chris, i just took in a keith coleman this weekend via a trade. mine appears a bit more artsy/fancy than the one in your pic. i am working on a good pic but here is a description. i believe it is called a warlock or something similar. it has a ss damascus blade and bolster, the blade is a warncliffe (sp?) / slight hawkbill style. it has a file worked dual-purple liner/liner lock and the handle is a beatiful desert ironwood. there is a thumb ramp similar to the one on your knife and it has top mounted thumb disk for opening. i had two custom dealers independetly appraise it in the $600+ range. the guy was just ready to get something else and wanted one of my terzuola knives so we made an even trade. where can i see more of his work, any website or web dealers carrry his work? i'll get you a pic when it is finished...dmc (duane mccord)

I had the same model with stag handle scales. It was a great knife. I liked it a lot and Keith was a fine person to do business with. Sold it when I became disenchanted with liner-locks, but I would buy a fixed blade from Keith any time.
