I've never made an EO this small before, kind of fun.
Blade and spring Ats-34, cryo, Rc61-62 3/32" stock
Mill releived liners, keystone sheild is pinned.
Pull about a "5", Flush all three positions
Cut swedges, long pull, closed 3 3/8" open 5 3/4"
Comments welcome, Take a look.

Wow, I like that a lot!

With old age and arthritic fingers, I've become very aware of easy opening pocket knives. Is that a very stiff spring?

I love shadow patterns.

I have no doubt the lucky individual getting this knife is extremely happy with how it turned out....<cough cough>.

The Pa. shield may be a clue as to where it is headed. :)

Its about a 5 on the pull' the reason I didn't make the swedge bigger was so
you can actually use the EO feature, hope this helps.
Ken.

Sounds like a really BIG clue, morrowJ!!!:D:D

Really nice knife!!

Jason, I thought that knife might have your name on it. That shield immediately reminded me of your KHnutbuster.

What the...

Oh. Plucker. For a minute there, I thought traditional's 'folksy' G-rating had been rescinded. ;)

That's a Gorgeous little knife, Ken. Your bone dying and jigging is among the best I've ever seen. Congrats, MorrowJ!

could you send me that so I can try it for a year or three...I think I might like it but want to be sure before ordering one...

Beautiful knife, Ken, and I know it's top notch. Congrats Jason!

Thanks Kerry. I really do consider it quite a privilege to have this kind of access to makers like Ken and yourself. Getting to shows can be troublesome but this site really helps people like myself still relatively new to the custom market make informed decisions about orders.

I like your knife, but on the old ones that spear blade is often times fatter out toward the tip sorta spatula shaped. That is what I always liked on those old cattaraugus, remington, etc easy openers.

I know what you mean....I love those old easy openers. They are the reason I asked Ken to make this one. I've always loved easy openers and saw one Ken made some time ago and had to have one. :)

I like how Ken adapted the blade shape to the size of this one. I think the fatter blade shape you're referring to would look odd on a smaller knife like this one.

Dandy knife. I've been carrying a couple of Ken's lately and I really enjoy them.

You know, Jason...that's a nice small sized knife...a "baby plucker", if you will. You gonna get a "mother plucker" for the next one? ;)
