Kershaw 1416 a Sebenza tribute?

is it just me or does the Kershaw 1416 look an awful lot like the older version of the Reeve's Sebenza? (particularly the handle shape)

Well, I'm glad someone else noticed it, too!

I remembered mentioning this fact a couple of months ago, but nobody seemed to care.

Oh well, if it's a tribute, then it's a good one, coz the 1416 is one tough baby.

I love my 1416. Funny how it isn't even listed in Kershaw's product list, only the
smaller version is listed. It may somewhat
resemble the Sebenza, only quite a bit
larger. Does your 1416 blade material have a
wavey appearence to it by the way?
